Echo so sorry you're going thru this mess.  He's really a beautiful dog.

Heh. I bought my pup in April, and am still waiting on her papers. Bit of a mess...unplanned mating, newly imported sire, DNA samples got lost or were blank, etc. etc. I try not to think about it, and just enjoy her, or I'll be tearing my hair out in frustration. I also keep reminding myself the breeder has a littermate of hers he can't sell until HE gets the papers, so he has every reason to want to get this solved.

This was my first 'registered' dog. I have learned a hard lesson. If I ever go to purchase a dog again, and the breeder cannot give me the papers, I will turn around and walk away. No matter HOW much I like the dog, I am not going to go through this again!!

Thats the secret to the deal    go in person ,,,spend some time...get papers in hand and read them before you pay the money to the person holding the leash......or the dog....I almost got duped at the bank last week, if i had not read my receipt before I moved out of the line....I would have not been credited 300.00 to the better on my truck note...she only put on the receipt   a tiny amount   and I almost drove off with out looking at it....something made me read it before I , some little intuition.....always read papers before you leave .....one poster last week , had a breeder shove a dog in her truck, ran back to truck and said oh I got to go,,,,,and drove off....when she read the papers he shoved under her crate  ,she got a few surprises......you cant be too careful.....

I though these dogs were from the USA.....having been imported , I guess.....or from import parents.?

Both dogs were imported,  Then I bought from the owners.

I will say this much,  Anyone who is considering a dog from Missouri PM me and I will tell you who this peson is that I have had so much trouble with...  NO One should have to go through the BS we went through on Shipping this dog !!

Same problem here in south fl I encounter a so call breeder/bkoker whom  had been sue left and right by several kennels that are legit and the USKC.This clown has been selling puppies and dogs alleging to be register them under the USKC which in fact is a name that he stole from the real uskc and made false staments to a great number of people. On his site he alleges had train several famous people and several basketball players down here in miami.I been tryng to get my dog currect papers and pedegree to register with the proper organisaton it has been a nightmare since i came across this man.

The best solution for everyone (buyer and seller) is that a buyer comes in person to see the dog for himself, check the papers and have some good time.  You spend a bit extra but no money is worth the aggravation when things go wrong as described here. Meeting in person is the best possible solution.

"I attempted to DEMAND (like the seller always did) to have the papers sent out on Tuesday,  AFTER I had Faxed a copy of the last payment via Money Order, a copy of the CERTIFIED Envelope,  and a handwritten note from the owner of the Mailing Made Easy company saying that it was mailed with the contents on the copy from her facility !!  "

Has the seller actually received the payment yet?  I would not accept a faxed copy of the money order as proof of payment and with the amount of fradulent money orders would give it time to clear....

Betty the last payment was 105.00   and YES she has even CASHED the Money Order.....and the papers are still NOT mailed yet,  she finally emailed me yesterday and said her other 1/2 had forgotten to mail it out..... and that I get too worked up over nothing....  ya well that was BEFORE I read her RAP Sheet ONLINE !!!!!!

I would NEVER even associate with someone who has a sheet that long,  MUCH LESS buy a dog from them....

Echo- Probably should have checked out on the rap sheet BEFORE you engaged in any business dealings huh??  You just don't know what people are up to these days.  My bitch I just had shipped yesterday was from a kennel I'd never heard anyone talk about- I asked around but no one really new anything bad or good, I nosied around but couldn't find anything shady to worry about and I really wanted this dog bad so I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.  My only source of security was that I paid with Paypal.  When she arrived as planned she looked great, nice weight, very nice dog AND her paperwork (2 photocopies) were in with her with a note attached stating that the originals will be mailed to me certified mail so that they did not get lost with her shipping to me.  I thought that was great considering I got 0 paperwork for Agar until like 6 months later.  Granted we had to have pink papers transferred but still I got no photocopies or anything other than the required documents to ship to US.  Even his scorebook didn't come til a long time later.

Breeders should understand that the buyers are nerveous and should try to give them something for peace of mind.

Well had I known there was a rap sheet to be viewed I absolutely would have looked into it,  I did not know one existed.   An annonymous emailer emailed me a link to follow to get the information,  I don't know who this person is,  and have no asked,  I am just thankful they brought it to light.

Honestly I did not know how easy it is to find stuff like this until this person emailed me this information....
