Chris, Exactly what I'm looking for, for this mating. Anyone have contact info for the owner of that dog? And, yes, the old experienced breeders do / did that. Many did quite well that way.

Melano resides in Germany and is already 8 and a half years old. You would need to look at one of his sons or grandsons. I know that Marsha has a daughter out of him, but maybe somebody can chime in with male progeny. I am looking at the August issue of the SV magazine and there is an ad promoting Melano and his black son V-Carlo vom Haus Ehrlich (linebred 3-2 on Half Ruhbachtal and 4-3 on Arek Stoffelblick). During my research for my own litter, I came across a few people who raved about a linebreeding with Arek (my litter is linebred on him as well).
