Sorry I step aways for a few....
Here is I site I use for myself and pets, www.earthclinic.com/Pets/acvfordogs
I take it myself for arthritis and have a old dog that has it also, I started giving it to her last winter and after about a few weeks I could she that it was helping her! It helps in keeping their PH levels correct, it's great for a quick wipe down. There are multiple uses for ACV and some good site on it's uses, the site above was just one off the top of my head.
Hope this helped a little...

I can't get the link to work. Is it just plain old apple cider vinegar, and what's the doseage?

I give about a tablespoon per 50 pounds.
Try just going to www.earthclinic.com then look to the left for pets/dogs or "Google" apple cider vinegar for dogs.

i just went to the earthclinic site. very interesting. when i was a kid my mom used to rinse our hair w/a apple cider vinegar solution. our hair was always very soft and no tangles. i am gonna try adding acv to MY daily routine to see if it will help me lose weight (PLEASE PLEASE) and help w/my arthritis. if it does, i may try adding it to the dogs food, but i have to say, it tastes absolutely gawd awful!!!!! gack....i don't know if they'll eat their food w/it added. i've also read where a 2 to 1 (water to vinegar) solution is good for toenail fungus (soak for 20 - 30 min a few times a week) and vinegar will also help kill mold. imagine all the products we buy when we could just use acv!

I get a squeeze bottle and fill a third with honey, and then I fill it to the top with the ACV. It needs to be shaken for some time. Let it settle overnight and it should go into solution pretty good.
At health food stores you will find the cloudy organic undistilled ACV. Mother is the tiny formation of cobweb like substances. Some mother will show in the bottom of the ACV bottle the more it ages.
The organic ACV companies claim many of the vitamins are lost with the pastuerized grocery store ACV. They also claim that pastuerized ACV was made to please the public with its clear appearance.
The truth is both are good. Some studies have proven for weight loss and appetite supression in humans, the pastuerized is best.
If your just feeding a few dogs, the organic would be OK. If you feed a large yard, then the pastuerized is more practical. They both do the job.
