BRAVO stems from a company that supplied meats to high end restaurants. That's why they are able to sell Murrays' chickens. All the veggies used are FRESH, grade A .

I do like Omas Pride, and would buy it because it's a little less expensive, but the WMBs aren't from antibiotic/hormone free sources which is important to me.

Sue Ann...
I do need to respond to some incorrect information that you have stated in your post
From what I understand Bravo uses various sources for their veggie part of the raw. It's inconsistant from batch to batch and often includes spoiled veggies from salvaged veggies rejected for human consumption. Bravo is a spin off from Oma (BIG LAWSUIT if you want to research). Those I know and work with consider Oma to be the higher end product.
##
Bravo does use the same veggies from batch to batch and does not use salvaged veggeies.
As far as the lawsuit, I have heard of it but from what I understand it is in the process of being thrown out.
Bravo recently moved processing to Canada I believe.
## Bravo is still processed in the same plant that it always has been in Connecticut
For me if I'm feeding raw I want to see, smell and feel the meat before feeding it out. Grinding it up and mixing with veggies adds a few more steps for bacteria to get added. I'm not a supporter of either Oma or Bravo...
## That is what is great about America we can all choose what we want. But please in the future choose to tell the truth

Uh Cricket, My sources for info are spot on. I have an in with some of the people who know both company founders. I have no motivation to post lies about either company. As I mentioned I don't support either one.

I've been googling, but I can't find anything on the lawsuit. Could someone provide a link to information on this suit?

Well Sue Ann
I have to tell you that my best friend is the person that is being sued so I think that I can speak with some knowledge on the subject.
Bravo is still manufactured in Ct.
Bravo does not use the type of veggies that you are accusing them of using
And finally the lawsuit is going to court on Feb 27th. Not a jury trial with the award that they wanted but rather before a judge with a cap and a caution that the other party does not have a case.
So if you would like to double check your facts you will find that they all just appeard in court last week.

The person who told me about the different veggies in Bravo batches used to feed it himself. He would open one package and have it be ok and the next would be rancid. The same product one time would have certain veggies in it, next time through it would have different veggies. He obviously feeds something different now. The person he used to buy from contacted him not long ago, hoping to find out where he got his new product he is feeding. The reason the person contacted him, so he claimed, was that Bravo moved processing to Canada and he is hoping to find a new product as well. If my information is false, it came from a Bravo distributor himself. Perhaps he was informed of an intended move and plans fell through or haven't occured yet. The way it was relayed to me was that it already occured.
The info I have about the different veggies from batch to batch came first hand from a person who experienced it. If things have changed is all good. I was also told the veggies that were in the batches were rejects from the restaurant. This makes sense when one finds rancid products time and again.
With a lawsuit and product recall, something is wrong somewhere. The hows and whys are irrelevant if the product isn't a good one.

So one person claims some of the veg was no good, another company is involved in litigation and Bravo has voluntarily recalled a couple items that have no more bacteria than any other raw meat.................................WOW lets hang the bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all get to make our own choices about what we buy. It will be interesting to see if other raw diets get recalled as well.

What happened to my post. I sent some facts that disputed what Sue ann was saying. I saw it there and now it is gone. What happened?
