Okay, you will never see a GSD with this straight a back get a really high conformation rating in a show. I have been wondering for quite some time if judges now consider the roached back necessary for a VA rating. I wondered if the koer report was calling her back weak because of the lack of roaching.

But, according to the translations and explanations that have been done (thank you all, especially Jackie) my thinking is off base.

Very well said JGH and D.H...

Many thanks for the explanation of the Critique... No amateur like me could decipher what the Koer meant... translating is one thing and understanding what it means is another big lecture...

This thread justifies my idea that working-line people are now more into understanding the make-throughs of  CONFORMATION (every detail has its purpose... ) and the construction -work being done to standardized the GSDs structure... Hopefully people in the showline area are doing their part in maintaining temperament and working attitude...not only achieving high-scores in protection work... NOWADAYS if you don't "AUS" you're a goner... 4 sale to CHINA...He..He..He...
