kaching kaching$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I had a client call wanting her mekachepoo trained. Why on earth would anyone pay $2,500 for a mutt puppy and then want this 4 pound fully grown dog trained. All you really have to do is be careful you don't step on it

mekachepoo=maltese, poodle and chiwawas (lol) actually if you all saw gremlins it actually was cute and looked like Gizzmo

And the other day I saw a web site for 'Indian Village Dogs'...they were GSD crossed with Husky or some other sled dog type, blue eyes are OK, ears can be "point" of "flop", but having one of each would be a "disqualification"...from what, I wonder??? My hubby is Seminole, & I have a lot of Native American friends...none of them have 'Indian Village Dogs'......Yikes!!

And .......m  zaki40...yes, you can show your dogs offspring in Germany, if what the above posts say is true, & I wouldn't have any reason to doubt them...they are knowledgable folks!      jo

well, didn't all modern dog breeds come about by selective breeding? types and different breeds until the desired result? i think that they used to be "created" to serve certain purposes; herding, ratting, coursing, etc. even lap dogs. the new ones are being created for different reasons too. its just that there are soooo many different ones now and the breeding is new ($2000+ for these dogs is nuts) and probably little or no regard is taken for genetic problems (yet). small dogs seem to be the biggest thing; cuteness rules, i guess. i would imagine alot of the new designer breeds will not really get established.

and i agree with luv - damn! those canispanther dogs are the stuff of nightmares!
