Who is getting excited? Ivan liked the dog and bought it. I'm sure he tested it. I don't worry about Ivan getting any dog to heal, it is the nerve, drive and courage that is not always seen in a showline.
SchHBabe, the only time I get excited on this board, is when chemical engineers post their pictures!

L0L .... Truthfully I don't really care about the schh titles because who knows how they got there. Look at that male who failed horribly in the BSP

Watson
You are a good sport! If I had a sister, I would let you have her, but I don't, so take my wife instead!

How did this dog get a HD rating when it is only a little over 1 year old....it makes it so confusing when the arguing begins on Hips and a rating is given in German sv at 1 and we dont get one tilll 24 mos because of immature growth patterns probable at an early age....Someone please unconfuse this issue......

Don, no, I don't own this dog, nor do I intend to buy him. I live on a suburban lot, and already have 2 dogs. I just liked his looks, that's all, so I clicked on the pedigree, then started wondering what the hip ratings meant.
Other than the lack of SchIII in his ancestry, what do you see as being wrong with him? Conformation? Over-angulated?
I'm open to learning here!
Thanks for your comments! I have no stake in this dog, so let 'er rip!

For what it's worth I thought he was a cute show line. I like his color and coat leangth. HE has a beautiful head on him but his ped isn't the best but who cares? Not me, not my dog, not my concern.

I don't see anywhere in his pedigree if he's a poop eater or not. I guess they don't count that do they?????

I do have german show lines (and that one lonley working line ) dogs. I do however, have to agree that he is an unbalanced dog. I do not like this top line and he is over angulated. His color is very nice! His head isn't masculine, at this time. He looks soft, I don't mean coat texture, and I don't mean protection wise(how could I tell that from a picture). He is missing the masculine look with the angles. But, he is also still a young dog. I would say he is a cute dog, but there is nothing other than his good coloring that would make me look twice at him.

luvmidog, The SV rates hips after 1-year, OFA is 2-years.
