senta, your right. But if the price is included in the advert it will most likely cut all the no-go replies in half. I know my spending limit sometimes higher at certain times of the year, I personally feel like I wasted this persons time by replying and on top of that I told them about my living and home, child, tado's the whole nine yards before a price.

So, now if I don't buy the dog when I mentioned to them, I'll feel like the bad one. Then maybe I'll have a bash thread on me. I doubt it, but it's possible. There was no down payment, just a when I can, I'll call you to see if the dog is still for sale. This database is a candy story of GSD, there's always new adverts and nice dogs added. So, if the price (IMO) isn't added and you have to inquire about it, if the price is too high and you start saving for a period of time, usually other adverts show up in the database that are more detailed with a price that look better to me for the dog in question, even if it's a thousand or two more the dog fits the price better. I dunno, everyone's different when they browse and shop I guess. Most of the time I don't even bother inquiring about certain dogs just because they look like a million bucks.   Darn it.

...but when I bought my dog I never ask before because the price! I was looking in that time for a special line, for the father of the dog ... or mother-line... or something like that. Than I go to that place where are the puppies ( different places ) and have a look how they grow up. Than - in the end of this search I found that dog what I wanted to buy - my dog... there is additionally the first view, the first impression... and in the end - after I decided sure for thisdog, for this pup... than I asked for the price... and than, in that moment - the price has to quality rating. So - if there are people who ask me in first for the price... I cannot understand this. Really not.

I have a question about ads.  How come you see so many that state "hurry up and get yours, they are going fast".  If they are not having a problem selling their pups quickly, why are they advertising?  Also, the ads that read "great pups for sport, personal protection or show".  All from the same litter.  Give me a break.  It automatically sounds to me like someone who lies, or at the very least, exagerates.  I know that there is a lot of competition out there, for our bucks, but I appreciate someone who doesn't exagerate, and tells it like it is.  Honesty without embellishment.  Guess I am asking too much.

I guess - and I am sure: puppies from one litter are different. The hard work is: to find the right seller for the right puppy. If a breeder know his puppies individually - than he will give every pup not to anyone but exactly to that people who are asling for anything special.

The one that cracks me up is the one where two dogs are tied to prove mating. Personally, I'd take the puppies that are produced as sufficient proof!

Maybe I'm missing something.
