Sick of police bashing - Page 2

If we are going to bash, how about bashing the things, people, organizations that are bent on destroying our breed or dogs in general. How about PETA, or the orgs. that believe " animals are people"  or the poitical moves to take every law abiding citizens rights away by passing unreasonable laws requiring spay/nuetor. How about YOUR dog bred to YOUR female on YOUR property for YOUR own constitutiona rights to pursue YOUR dream of bettering a breed? It is hard for me to imagine that I may not have the right to breed my two dogs if I choose, and as a responsible pet owner to make these decisions on my own property.

There is lots that could and should be bashed, but I for the life of me cannot understand why this board takes so much time to bash those that serve us and have nothing to do with our breed or any dogs for that matter. Policemom, I think the smartest most prudent thing we can do is simply not respond to these cop bashings. If they are not read then they will not recieve the attention that they desire. But this takes discernment and discipline and I am afraid many are prone to follow sensationalism even if it is destructive. Thanks for your concerns.

Maybe the people are sick of being being bashed by the police?

Well, I feel like sometimes this forum feeds off of the whole bashing anyways.  If people are bashing LEO's, then they are leaving breeders, trainers, and  long-coats alone for a short period of time.  Heck, I have even seen them search for American line dogs and bash them.  Granted I do not agree with a lot of things I see, but who am I to judge people?  I try to not criticize people.  As for LEO's, I have nothing against them at all, it is hard to say what I would do in any situation that they are put in on a daily basis.  I probably would just shoot the SOB, that is why I don't want a badge.  LOL  

I say I am tired of the bashing all together, that is why sometimes I stay away from the forum, I can watch Day's of Our Lives if I want a lot of DRAMA!!

I find the bashing totally out of place.

Not just cop bashing but bashing period does not belong on any forum.

Police have a job to do and they have guidelines to follow.

Whether we like it or not it is the way it is.

I personally believe they for the most part do a good job.

There is always going to be one that is less then the best but that happens in every group.

So stop bashing, stop nit picking at them.

Totaly agree with you policemom.

Even if I had a gripe with "a" police officier, I'd keep it to that particular incident, not throw the entire force under the bus.

It's funny because the first person these people will call if there is a problem, is the police.

I own a mortage company & investments.   Do I give a rats ass, if someone criticizes crooked mortgage brokers?  The Fed?  Subprime lenders? Banks?  Deadbeat borrowers?   Hell  NO,  post away, Expose them.   So  why are some so "PC" that some cannot handle a human interest story(ies) of Law enforcement..both good & Bad. Granted we need to see the good ones as well, and there are plenty out there.

This entire nation, collectively,  has no backbone, no resolve,  & is so quick to be Offended that we cannot handle the truth. Sometimes the truth is not pretty. Sorry to hurt your wittle feelwings.    Everyone here has whats called a mouse on their computer. If you dont think youll like the story,  DONT CLICK!  Dont read it.  Toughen up for Petes sake.

This is a dog board.  I don't come on here to bash politicians, police, mortgage companies, banks, etc.  If the need arises to bash a person on a dog related issue, then so be it!  You need to grow up and take your agenda somewhere else.  I frequent another sports related board and it is nice when the threads stay related to the common interests of the users.  If I want to listen to someone's opinion on world issues, I will turn on CNN.  This "DON'T CLICK!  Don't read it."  is B.S.  You have started threads that implied something about dogs and had nothing to do with them.  Go take your soap box to D.C. or the local community college, where people might actually buy into your garbage.  This is not the venue.

 There are cops on the board & K9 handlers.  Some of like to hear their thoughts, take or their Spin.  But You preach to the Choir. 

Ive only responded to threads in my months of posting here..   I think I started 1-2 that some might consider off topic. A few were human interest stories.   

 I have vented vociferously at those that lie, bait, name call & have diarehhea of the mouth,  by way of their keyboard.  Longcoats, Showlines, Michael Vick,  Kennels  etc.   Bash away & the Babboons feed off one another. I just throw them a gratuitous banana as their screching is humorous.

 I see many off topic threads, & when I feel it appropriate to post, I do so.   If it interests me, I click. If not, I dont.  A Very simple concept-least for some.
