iluvmyGSD

I was gonna post yesterday, have'nt been on much over the weekend, but i really didn't know what to say...i was just stunned..if i didn't live so far away (in louisiana) you bet I would have been there...and  my little girl would have been singing the star spangle banner louder than anyone- its one of her favorite songs.

i think it was sunday night, i watched the movie they made--world trade center--I was hoping that they would be showing some parts with the dogs searching for people... I wanted to let my kids see that, what these dogs can do , and how important they are...there was maybe a 3sec shot of a GSD laying on the ground, with a couple men petting it...I think they should make a movie about these dogs and what they did, that would bring more attention to them...

K9sar----NEVER FORGOTTEN!!!!! NEVER! God Bless both the dogs, many, if not all, of whom have passed from the effects of their service, and their handlers for their courageous work after that awful day. Although we cannot all attend Memorial Services due to work or distance or financial restraints, do not think we have forgotten. You are in our thoughts & hearts & prayers, not just on this sad day, but every day. Our nation owes a debt of gratitude to you that can never be adequately repaid. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. jo
