Birdy

Golden Elk,

Quanto Jipo-Me is a fantastic male. He was purchased by this kennel from jinopo sometime last year. I've seen this male work in person and in video and he's awesome. I see that xanta is bred to him.

I bet you can get a nice pup from that cross.

As for this kennel being a puppy mill, I don't think that is so. I don't understand why everyone is so quick to bash a kennel here. It looks like the price is fare too.

Good luck as none of us know how a pup will turn out.

Also, email me privately here rollendonner@yahoo.com and I'll give you the name of a person who has a Quanto daughter and they are thrilled with her.

Birdy...

both dogs  have passed a breed survey both dogs are also titled  that's more then I can say for many of other kennnels . I think you guy's and gal's are a bit harsh on these people .

Under future breeding females  so what a pup is pictured   they are hoping  this pup will be come a future breeding dog.  Where is the crime in that ??  I just kept 2 daughters out of my National Universal Siegerin  u bet I hope they will work out to be included in my breeding program in the future :))

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder   if they  do good work ,possess a stable temperament  see no crime  breeding them ? from what I can see I do not know these females so i can not comment on temperament working abilities  etc ...

One female the black one has a very nice pedigree she is also KKL1 .

the sable one comes over lines I have no knowledge of so I can not comment. and since when  should "a" fast normal  not be bred !!    I have had dogs with that reading and they received ofa good :)) remember puppies always do have a daddy too :))

hmm..i thought the were all pretty..some maybe be a little to small for my taste and a little to skinny, but if any of you have seen my dog you know i like the stocky look, apparantly they are suppose to be visable ribs (that many?i thought only 2? i just glanced thro but i know i saw atleast 3 maybe 4 on one), but i don't know enough about this stuff yet to say if their "breed worthy" but imo, they were all pretty enough 2 me....

Birdy, Pia, ilovmygsd, thank you for the replies. Birdy I'm not really looking to buy from this kennel (though I think Quanto is pretty nice looking!) Just trying to expand my knowledge.

Pia - the dog you posted looks pretty good to me, though she is a bit long. I haven't glanced through her pedigree yet...

I agree with Pia. I have looked into this kennel and they are not a puppy mill. They are business kennel=lots of dogs but all of the dogs are from very good stock and taken care of. It is a nice facility and I contemplated buying from them until I saw their prices. I'm just not willing to pay $2500 for a pup out of any litter and that is what was asking price, on the litter I was interested in. Quanto is a beautiful dog and I fell in love with him  when he was for sale. If only I had the $.  Even so, as much as I like him, my wallet would not let me take the gamble on genetics and a pup at that price, when I have my secret source of stellar pups much cheaper.

Regarding the females, Annie looked a bit long and short legged but that is typical in working dogs and she is black. Very hard to find a super conformation on a black bitch. I have one in the back yard here that looks like a midget compared to her brother. Xanta I thought was a nice looking female. Maybe the pic was taken at a young age, not yet filled out? But structurally she looks good to me. Those lines I am not super familiar with but nothing looked out of place on either or.

For $2500 you can get a dog from Jinopo (Jiri), himself.  That puppy better shit High in Trial trophies for that price!

Ok, poor choice of words on my part.  Not a puppy mill, but I'd say a big business kennel.  cha ching!!!
