I actually like Molly's suggestion of Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul if you are gonna feed dry. I looked at the ingredients and they were very similar to Solid Gold etc. but a lot less money.

Some of my dogs developed the runs on Solid Gold. I feed Candidae now without problems.

I'll have to check those sites..............thanks! Nenz seems to have the runs off and on constantly so it wouldn't be much different if he had them all the time, I suppose. I think I'll try Chicken Soup and one of the Solid Gold on Nenz and Spunky. My friend has her black GSD mix pup on Chicken Soup, and raves that she loves it and her coat is much glossier, though it looks the same to me! My other friend is sold on the Solid Gold Wolf Cub so maybe I'll try that one. I checked some other threads on this site and found good things said about the Solid Gold Millenia too.
