Ever wonder what the non-dog-owning public does for entertainment?

They are board, with no fun in their life and no one to put a smile on their face.

LOL, I guess they are, Doggie. Sorry for their luck.

My dog also is fond of Grasshoppers, Toads, and mind you he has a PASSION for Butterflies... will jump almost a feet above the ground if it flies away and will ignore any of your commands until the Butterfly is gone. Regarding TENNIS balls... since I noticed his feces having the ball fibers in it... I opt to give him a BASKETBALL to exercise his jaws stretching... The BB now looks like a pancake to LOL...

have a nice day you guys...

Our little princess will splash all of the water out of her bucket trying to bite the splashes.  I've also watched her climb the lilac bush to get to little birds.

Ccatti collects all the kongs in the house until she barely has room to fit in her crate.  She'll even steal them from other crates. I think she was up to 12 once.

Abram herds the kitties, both our house cats and barn cats.  He knows to be careful and often will lay down to wait for them.

Pity the poor people without pets.

I have 2 - 5 mos old boys Diesel & Cash that both luv their toys, Diesel guards all of his from Cash and Cash sneaks up on him and steals one and then runs all over the yard from Diesel, he finally catches up to him and of course gets his toy back!

Reni- my Malinois, burries all of her toys in our couch!

Cheyenne- my dobie, has one favorite toy that she treats like a baby, and carries it everywhere, and actually falls asleep sucking on it!

We have a creek out back that every one of our guys lives in!!  And the buckets are scrubbed daily from all the muddy water that they are dipping their feet and heads in all day! :)

Sparrow and Blitzen - you make me wonder if I will ever get over the loss of Reno.  I lost her in Feb, and it still is painful.  I read your posts, and realize that I will feel this way for a very long time.

As for Silly dog behaviour, besides sucking on a "bunny" her stuffed animal every night to put herself asleep, Reno would drive my (non drinking, very religious) neighbor crazy by emptying my recycle bin of all its contents (especially the beer cans) and drop them down this opening between my fence and the neighbors.  She would grab a can, prance around the yard and then drop it down the hole and then bark at it.  It was too funny, but really annoyed my neighbor.

Libby has been going with me to my old office/warehouse that we just closed, helping me clean it out.  We were the only ones in the office, so I kept wondering why UPS and Fedex personnel kept startling me in my office.  We have a security system that automatically locks the door, but has a motion sensor on it.  Libby quickly fiqured out that  when we heard the door bell, I would walk to the front and wave my hand across the sensor.  Well, she has become my personal doorman, because half the time I don't even hear it, but she does.  She runs to the front and stands in front of the sensor, and lets them in.  Then she brings them back to my office.  Too funny.  All I have to say is open the door and she runs to the lobby.  Comes in handy!

In the yard, Arkane stalks things, I call it his "lion of the serengetti" imitation.  He gets flat on the ground, even his chin & slowly crawls up, then at the last moment he springs up in the air.

RenoFan, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel sad about losing your dog. I try to not talk about Dylan too much anymore, some of my non-doggy friends think I need to be committed, after all he was only a dog. I pity them for thinking that way, don't you?

Chaos loves to bounce around the back yard chasing moths flying around.  He jumps and spins.  Hilarious to watch him out back when he knows that no one is looking!

No matter how many years go by or how many other dogs I have, to try and fill the void. I still miss the "One" Lady. I think we all have 1 or 2 in our lifetimes we can never get over. It's been 16 years, 1/2 my life and I am still looking for a dog like her. Non have some close.
