No actually,  I don't think I could possibly ever do enough to stop this type of tragedy that appears to be happening on many occations across the country !!  

You I can understand... You don't want to see it stopped !   If your having a bad day you want the ability to go shoot someones LOVED PET, so that you can feel good about yourself.

r i g h t ......All police go shoot pets because it's something the Academy teaches to relieve stress.....

Thank you once again for all the support and kindness you have shown.  You have spent hours searching the internet for similiar cases and their outcome.  I am still hopeful the Sheriff's Office will at least apologize to us and say that one of their officers made a "mistake".  It has been almost a month and it still doesn't seem like Max has been gone that long.  We miss him every day.  My husband is holding a lot of anger towards LEO.  I have a more forgiving persoonality and I am trying to help him through this.  We are supposed to get a visit from a special investigator Thursday, 6/14 to go over the case.  I will keep you posted on what happens.  AGAIN...thank you from the bottom of my heart!  Sharon Mattia, Hughesville, MD
