I truly believe that what I'm dealing with is a very bad rash due to a allergic reaction to something. I can guarantee that it's not contagious because Jake does NOT have what she has. My dogs are not kennel dogs.. they live inside the house... so if Zambi's problem was indeed contagious that Jake would of gotten it by now, which he hasn't.

With all due respect Animules, Don't take this the wrong way but I don't come here for medical advices.. I don't need you guys to do research and to determine that what she has is contagious or not. If her problem was indeed contagious.. My vet would of warned me ahead of time and told me to keep her away from the other dogs. My vets are not stupid, They're well respected. I don't need you guys to pretend to be vets. I pay for professional advices and opinions by licensed DVMs.

I only listen to the professionals.

Wow, on 5/26 it was a fungus.  By 5/29 it was an allergey.  Keep talking Brittany, she will be cured and titled by the end of June!

Still confused about drives, Brittany?  This isn't defense at all.  YOU said it was fungus.  You took her out in public because it seemed okay to you.  I think that you are on the defensive because you never expected to be called on taking even a potentially infectious dog to a public place.

I asked you to pause and think of the other people that might have been affected by your action.  If that is sarcasm in Brittanyland, too bad.

The transmission of infectious agents varies among individuals.  What Jake has or has not caught from Zambi is in no way indicitive  of how contagious she is. Jake may have a better immune system, or some protective antibody that she lacks.  You are not a vet, your beliefs don't really count.  A dog on antibiotics can be assumed to have something that can possibly infect other dogs.

Bottom line is that I asked you to think of others and you didn't like it.

Anybody willing to take a potentially infectious dog into a public store needs to be scolded.  First link said foot fungus, that falls into the needs scolding category. 

I just LOVE it when people who don't even know me accuse me of being arrogant. Gosh the internet is for those who enjoy talking trash to people, but refuses to meetup to the person that they're trashing on.

If you're that concern funk man.. why dontcha come down here and find out for yourself? Don't hide between the monitor and the keyboard :) This goes for animules and Avorow as well.

One last thing before I start ignoring this thread...  BEWARE of Vet wannabes here. If you have a medical problem.. don't come here for oppinions and advises. It's for the best interests that you seek a PROFESSIONAL opionion, rather than the opinion of somebody who enjoys pretending to be Vet..
