WHAT IF THE PERSON IS BROKE AND DOSEN'T HAVE MONEY THEN WHAT. WHERE IS MY RELEIF AS A CONSUMER.

JUST BECAUSE A JUDGE SAYS PAY THAT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING TO A PERSON THAT IS BROKE NOW DOES IT.

That's what the asset discovery is all about. I really don't see why liquidating an animal or two would be an issue for a professional breeder, if one decided one was "broke" enough to ignore a court judgment to pay.

If one is that broke, then maybe one would assume that breeding litters is just for income..........

by joanro on 16 December 2012 - 19:12

I'd take to the mountains with my un-liquidatable dogs before I let any body force me to liquidate a living breathing loving dog. You know the saying ,"from my cold dead hand"? Same thing applies to a dog......But that's just me.

and if, god forbid, that were the case, then that would put them in the same catagory as 75% of the breeders in the USA alone

well I tell you what I feel pretty much the same as Joanro.  But if Jenni wanted to "liquidate"  some of her dogs like some of the ones I checked out on her web site, I don't think I would hesitate.  I would gladly take a dog or two of hers.  I just hope you folks can work out your problems.  I wish you could have done it on a personal level without involving everyone else. Its none of my business and I don't want to know.  Who needs the added stress of knowing all the details of everyone else problems.

Who says it has to be selling dogs? LOL Seems to me there are equine assets as well. Don't image she's got a coin collection buried under the fish pond? But even so, she sells dogs all the time! So, you make me laugh, Joanro.  I suppose "every" pup of every litter she has bred is a beloved "pet" she's been forced to sell?

I would have thought the opposite!   She must have devoted repeat buyers lined up, six feet deep, in any case. She is one of the "top ten breeders" in the current view of so many of this board's membership. Really, I don't see a problem for her.  Roll eyes

TH, on the other hand, has a past experience with her--- full of delays and no pays, that are probably nigglin' away at her brain, causing her to worry about, "How hard is it going to be, to actually receive my money, this time! What Smile

The only dog on her site I believe she still has is Capri. I believe I saw a post once saying it's her prerogative to keep dogs she has sold on her site. But don't quote me....I may be delusionalOmg Smile after the Bears lost today
