I'm sure the 'breeder' will have that court ordered refund and court costs 
delivered to you soon OP, afterall, the 'breeder' has  said on many
threads about how it's easier to just pay the money and 'be done'. 
It may take an extra day because it's close to the big holiday.

Obviously, more than a few people do care. I do hope the check is already "in the mail".  Sent by "return receipt requested" from the US Postal service, or  some other traceable way.

And then maybe we all can take Susie up on her idea, and really get into the Holiday spirit of things.

Workingdogz, I hope this matter can be resolved soon. It does nobody any good to drag this into the new year. I've been very patient for 9 months so a few extra days won't hurt.  A debt is a debt and it must be paid. If not, I'll be filing for a Citation to Discover Assets.

LadyFrost...you are correct, nothing more can be added to this thread that has not already been said.

I sincerely hope Teufel Hunde receives her refund in a timely manner, to not end this mess as soon as possible would be arrogant.

What else could be added? Well, IMHO, that would be an apology. Now, I am sure a cold day in hell will happen first, but it should be noted that a simple apology would have gone a long way to mitigate this oh, what was it called in passing, hmm,  I believe, "train wreck".  It was an apt term!

And Cat, it does begin to look like you'll have to consider taking the drive and save her the stamp money. I would, I think, you know, kind of get it over with; have the check put in your hand. Why not? Bring your court judgment. Even call the cops before you leave so no funny business will be suspected? Cover a few bases like that, I am thinking? It's a decent idea really, because I admit, I don't have much faith in people having consistent levels of self-motivation when it comes to complying with court judgments.

Cat, do you  mean, she has not communicated with you in any way about how she plans to carry out the Judgment and pay you what she owes? 

No Bee Tree , she hasn't. A letter of intent to file for Citation to Discover Assets has been sent via email to her and her attorney with no response. I wanted to give her the opportunity to pay of her own will before starting more court proceedings.

FWIW, any reasonable person should realize that it is a hell of a lot cheaper to just pay the amount in question and walk away. it doesn't matter the reason/s or the people involved, the only ones that make any money in court are the lawyers and courts. You can try and make a stand to prove a point but you are just cutting off your face to spite your nose. Besides who has time to deal with all the BS that goes with situations like this?
