Beaujolais is one of 3 ....the most popular wines in France.
But the Gamay grape does not do well anywhere
else other than in Beaujolais France.

What does that mean? Funny, I have video of me getting bit at training the other day and I laughed when it happened. The 1977 reserve was maybe 27 cases. This wine was aged in 200 year old
barrels and bottled in Rothschild winery in Bordeaux....Like the 1986 you see.
Rothschild blends their wines and does not use a concentrator..

One of the most expensive bottles of wine ever sold was a
a Rothschild Beaujolais .
They uses grapes grown all over France. If you want to open
