You know wines Beetree?
I wish it did not I would not think about it.
You use your computer for information....here is something you can investigate.
$2,076.62 ....a bottle of 1986...so needless to say the 1977 would cost you
your first born.
ACCORDING TO GEORGES Duboeuf, perhaps the bestknown of the Beaujolais shippers, the two greatest vintages in modern Beaujolais history were 1945 and 1976. In a business built on hyperbole, Mr. Duboeuf comes off as almost laconic. So when he says, as he has been since September, that 1989 could be better than both those years, there just may be something to it. We've already sampled the nouveau Beaujolais, released as it is every year in mid-November. It is a fine nouveau - different from other years, for reasons to be explained later - but fine nonetheless.
December 3, 1989 ......By the way he is very wrong, like most wine brokers who want profits....Like dog brokers.
A wine broker would have to talk to a vintner that knows the wines like a dog broker would talk to a trainer/breeder.
But watch ..she just goes on and on and on....even when I show her she is being stupid and wrong.
Let me guess now she will ask for more proof as if I need to answer to her dumb ass. She will say
something like.. I am calling you on your BS. To cover the fact she has absolutely no idea what
she is talking about....Let's watch and see.

My uncle has a case if it went on auction...which it never would.
I would say he would get between $9000...to $12000 a bottle.
If you were the love of my life I could get him to pour you a glass.
If he liked you he would bring out 2 bottles.
I may have low balled his 1977,,,he would be insulted.
To him it is priceless. It was given to him by the Vintner.
1977 Domaines Barons de Rothschild Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, Pauillac, France. 750ml Avg Price ex-tax: $1,002 ...
Monkey piss!...not the same ...different wine.. a different place....But you can go to the auction.
Some people have the best wine..not the President.
Beaujolais is place in France.. with a great meaning to the French..
This wine ...the 1977 is like no other.

I am not a Rothchild. ( thank God). I am a working man. An the Vintner is a good
friend of my Uncle.
There is nothing wrong with the Gamay....
Like I said Beaujolais is region in France.
I learned something today on PDB...if I want know
about wines I ask the Beetree. If I want to know something
about dogs I ask the sockpuppet...not lol...yawning!
