You people are brainwashed. There were NO shots fired into that boat at all !!! The only thing fired ON TO that boat were 2 flash granades 2 minutes apart. The Boston Police WANTED THE GUY ALIVE !!!!

I actually agree with BE4U this time! ... didn't any of you watch the thermal heat imaging clip? They wanted to stun him, and not get blown up in the process if he had a suicide vest on, and yes, everyone wanted to take him alive! 

Really, otherwise the harmful conspiracy theorists would be making up more stuff that doesn't make sense and waste time, money and emotions for everyone.

Sounds like this branch of that transplanted Chechnya family, is as dysfunctional as any American family ever was.

Do these videos seem like taking him alive or just trying to stun him? If he was unarmed what are they shooting at? I think they are bozos with no clue. Remember he had no gun. Gotta love the blind faith in the boys in blue by you Bee it is very commendable to support your friends profession at every turn. Myself, I have lost faith in the police and justice system including defense lawyers, prosecutors and judges.

WASHINGTON -- Two U.S. officials say the surviving suspect in the Boston bombings was unarmed when police captured him hiding inside a boat in a neighborhood back yard.

Authorities originally said they had exchanged gunfire with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (joh-KHAHR' tsahr-NEYE'-ehv) for more than one hour Friday evening before they were able to subdue him.

The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the ongoing investigation, say investigators recovered a 9 mm handgun believed to have been used by Tsarnaev's brother, Tamerlan, from the site of a gun battle Thursday night, which injured a Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority officer. Dzhokhar was believed to have been shot before he escaped.

The officials tell The Associated Press that no gun was found in the boat. Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis said earlier that shots were fired from inside the boat.

That could have been a pack of firecrackers he threw at them. That would sound like rapid gunfire and not be a gun. Who knows? Why do you think you are even qualified to second guess the police protocol? I certainly do not have that expertise so I am not going to waste the time on speculation. The fact is they wanted him alive; and he is alive. I saw the helicopter imaging of Jahar moving in the boat and understand the use of the stun charges, or whatever you call those. Please, and why bring in a giant robot arm to pick him out of the boat? How the heck can you know what he had with him, until he was caught? It isn't like he acted like he wanted to give himself up.

You seem to have admitted your own biases, so I won't remind you that they exist, too. That usually means the real truth is somewhere in the middle.

 

I don't think (but Don't know) that they fired any shots at the boat. They did say they fired those stun grenades, and when you look on the helicopter FLUR Those things look nasty. The Boat was damaged and said to have holes in it. They also sent a robot it to tear the cover off.
Earlier that day, a Police Officer at MIT was killed, and and SUV hijacked. Suspect 1 (Tamerlan TsarNaev) was said to threaten a gas station attendant with a gun after discovering his car Jacking victim (The Hostage ) had escaped when they stopped there to fill up the tank. Soon after, the escaped Car-jacking victim told police his story a gun fight erupted between Suspect 1 and police. Tamerlan runs out of gun amo, and is tackled by police, at this point Suspect 2 is said to have Aimed at the Officers with the SUV and Hit the Gas attempting to run into them. The Officers are said to of jumped/run out of the way and Suspect 1 was hit and drug (Dragged) some distance. 

Suspect 1 is apprehended after dislodging from the vehicle, but the Suspect 2 gets away and ditches the SUV.

Police give up for the night and tell people they can open their doors and come out. 20 min or so passes...
Man goes out to his yard and checks on his beloved boat and discovers Suspect 2 in his boat and calls 911, Police charge back to Watertown. They had no Idea if Suspect 2 was armed or if he had a stash of explosives or anything else on his body or the boat.

We will see, I think news will slow down now. Once Suspect 2 gets a lawyer the Lawyer will tell him not to speak at all. The trial will take a while to start.

An interesting twist is what happened to Tamerlan's Gym Buddies and Sparing partner back in 2011.

The Boston Police DEMANDED NOONE KILL the suspects the ENTIRE time I listened to that Boston Scanner from 10pm till 8:30pm the next night !! The Boston Police DEMANDED the FBI leave the scene multiple times because they kept shooting towards the suspects and after suspect 1 "died en route" .. both suspects WANTED to BE TAKEN ALIVE and the Boston Police wanted them alive !!!!  The FBI is the reason this all played out so long. It was after the National Guard showed up that they got suspect 2 - and got him ALIVE. The Boston Police called in the National Guard to KEEP the FBI from taking control of the situation after suspect 1 died all of a sudden. The gun shots you heard are from the FBI and the FBI alone !!!! Except - one instance a Policeman shot 2 clips in the air to get the attention of the FBI !!! If you frikkin' know anything about guns you would know how many people are firing a gun !!! There can't be 12 people shooting 1 gun or 2 !!!!

Edit: Not only that but the FBI wanted to blow up the whole boat !!!!

Saw no Blood trail to the Boat, but, when he looked inside the Boat he saw blood on the boat floor, then, saw the suspect.
