I didn't think so.

Nope, just wondering why in the context of this thread, when someone who is a retired military veteran tells you honestly that you may be insulting him,  you would think it appropriate to further insult him by tossing out such a flippant response?  Especially considering you have been holding out the fact that what enrages you about this incident the most is that it was a retired and decorated military veteran.  I would have thought for the fact that you supposedly have great respect for those who serve,  it would have bothered you that you may be insulting a veteran, so you would have taken a little time to generate a response that was perhaps a little more thought out and sincere.

Listen here, if your not insulted at this point with all the innocent killings of Veterans and Reserve Miitary and their pets by peace officers. 'm talking in just the past year. You better soon.

You and your ill are throwing this country into WAR !!!

Phuckin STOP it !!!!!!!!

You cannot put 61 bullets in a US Marine in his own kitchen, in his own country with his saftey on .... and NOT be questioned by the First Marines.

WAKE the Phuck up people !!

We can do this peacefully by Elections in 2012.

I'm just glad to be a part of it.

RIP Jose

Former Marine...when he got shot he was a criminal disgracing the uniform and everything for which it stands.  Having served in the armed forces does not give anyone a free pass for later misdeeds.

Once a Marine, always a Marine.

"Once a Marine, always a Marine."

So I guess if he had gotten caught raping a child, you'd be blaming the kid; huh?  You know...because he's a Marine and whatnot...

Do you really want me to pull all my resourses together and provide statistics of peace officer vs military crimes ? If so, start a new thread. I'd be happy to spend some time on it.

The claim that the police shouldn't haqve shot the guy because his rifle's safety was on is just plain idiotic. No one can tell in a hallway what position a small switch on a gun is in, nor should they be expected to even consider the position of the safety when the rifle is being pointed at them.

But in any event, Keith, Sue, you're wasting your time.  The OP is not interested in the actual facts of the case (police conducting announced search with procedurally correct warrant shooting man who pointed a weapon at them), because they don't support her anarchist political agenda, her fundamental misunderstanding of the 4th Amendment, or her conspiratorial view of "the system."

Remember, your typical conspiracy theorist is a KOOK (Keeper Of Odd Knowledge).  I suggest ignoring this thread and leaving her to her wet dreams about armed political uprisings against the government and other assorted nonsense.
