Vk4, your hatred and intolerance is evident.   You are the one who begins thread after thread for the sole purpose of belittling the Bible or the Christian faith.   You are obviously very distraught and obsessed with issues of faith.

precisely it is the intolerance and distress religion is causing that motivates me to my small protest.

Persecution under religion is so two weeks ago, and is a far cry from the current and relevant points of societal manipulation. Really, this speaks to personal and emotional vendettas because there is nothing to be gained, even if you were able to state a compelling argument and prove it.

Carlin, so none of the current "2nd class citizen" situations  (in various
middle eastern countries, or ex USSR countries, or on Indian Reservations
in the good ol' USA, for some examples) qualifies as happening now, and
have nowt to do with "societal manipulation" either ?

There remains a great deal of persecution based on religious convictions,
as much as it is an analyzable product of 'political' concerns to do with
power and control and finance.  Religion is used as excuses for much.  
Look at Northern Ireland.  (Ya think the Troubles are really all over ?).

I think the 'personal & emotional' here comes less from vk and more from
those who stick their heads up the arse of their christian, and/or biblical faith,
and refuse to see what is obvious.

Hundmutter: vk4 is on at least three threads proving he is "emotional and personal" in his approach to the Bible bashing subjects he can't let go. It is also his fear, and no such idea of gullibility that drives him. His fear is rooted in his doubt. I proved that to him already. He just left it alone hoping it would be forgotten, and ignored.

Regarding your comment, "Refuse to see the obvious." It reminds me of Admins comment, "It is so simple". And yet, what exactly are you talking about?

I state facts and provide proof of ideas, and still am met with utter denial by the board unbelievers. I find that rather hypocritical for such self-acknowledged, logically entrenched thinkers.
