I hope I don't have to dodge the paparazzi on my way into work tomorrow.

Catherine, you are really getting carried away. Remember, there is a permanent record of every wild accusation you are throwing at me and trying to get people to believe by splicing 1/2 truths and utterly false statements carefully constructed to suit your agenda. Perhaps it would behoove you to slow down, take a step back and consider whether you really want to go down this road.  I never started, nor would I ever start a thread to bash someone in the manner you have.   This is the second thread you've started to against me- the first was based on your false belief that I was talking solely about you in a generic post I made, totally not traceable to you. You've gone too far now.  It's simply past the point of being believable and has crossed well into the territory of  libel http://dictionary.law.com/Default.aspx?selected=1153

This is clearly not at all about "right" or "wrong," or even business.  You and other posters who are just jumping on the bandwagon  are posting things that are absolutely untrue and totally out of left field.  Perhaps you are mistaken and would like to check some facts and maybe remove certain statements from your posts. No amount of explaining, nor reasonable, logical rebuttals or evidence to the contrary of any of these allegations would make a bit of difference to the "usual suspects" at this stage of the game. It's an exercise in futility.

The one thing that's clear as a bell is that poor Corrado doesn't even factor into this. For those of you reading who stop to wonder about the main idea of this charade, he is thriving in his new home. He got his surgeries and I gave him to a friend of a friend. He is about to graduate from his first "real" class and is possibly coming home for a visit this weekend. I'm told he's "the best dog ever." His "cousin" lives across the street and they swim together and play ball. His new owner is so dedicated, when told he couldn't bring him to work and the boss was giving him schedules that interfered with taking care of Corrado, he quit his jobTeeth SmileThumbs Up  LOL!!!  Corrado has the life he deserves. A bit of cyberspace mudslinging is a small price to pay.

Those who know, know, and those who don't but prefer to prattle on anyway, don't matter. SheepSheep

Jen, you must be absolutely thrilled knowing he has such a wonderful, dedicated home. I wish more dog owners were like that! I am so glad that little squirt has the life he deserves now. Thumbs Up

Thank goodness the little fellow is in good hands now, under the loving gaze of folks who care about him !  In the final analysis, that is all that matters.  Thumbs Up

by workingdogz on 07 December 2012 - 10:12

Actually, in the final analysis, no, it's not just about a puppy
that had a bad elbow that needed surgery.

It's about a 'breeder' that didn't follow through and refund the
puppy buyer as promised. The puppy buyer was instead drug
through the mud on various boards, as was her family. The puppy
buyer went through the proper channels and got her court
judgement. The 'breeder' didn't feel it was important enough to
show in court any of the three court dates, instead she posted on
internet message boards. Now it's official, the 'breeder' owes this
buyer her money back AND court costs. Plus likely has an attorney
bill too.

THAT is what this post was about. The buyer was referred to
as a scam artist etc etc ad nauseum by the 'breeder', and was
also bullied and threatened etc via emails by this 'breeder' in
an attempt to get out of what she rightfully owed the buyer.
'The check is in the mail' lived up to it's usual empty promise.

It will be even more pathetic if the buyer has to go the route of
garnishing the 'breeders' wages to get what's rightfully owed
to her, but since she has come this far, I guess thats just one
more little step to take. Afterall, no one likes a DEADBEAT that
won't pay their bills, do they?

Ultimately, the dog is safe and that is all that matters to me !

Have to wonder if you'd have the same outlook if it was you that was owed $1800

To say that the only thing that matters is that the dog has a good home is a pretty shallow statement indeed...

Everyone posting to this thread is comforted by knowing that the pup is well, but the reality is people's lives and reputations are in question too and that bears our attention and concern...

by workingdogz on 07 December 2012 - 17:12

I felt it prudent to add, I tend to wonder how you would respond to
such treatment as the OP recieved from the 'breeder' aakay?
Would you think it was 'all that mattered' if you and your family
were smeared and drug through the mud by the 'breeder' of
your dysplastic puppy on almost every working dog related board
there is?  Would you think it was 'all that mattered' if it was
your $1800.00 not being refunded?  Would it be 'all that mattered'
to you if you were accused of abusing and neglecting the returned
puppy to anyone and everyone, particularily another breeder you
were wanting to purchase a new puppy to start over with?

I guess if you would think that was ok, well, we see life through
vastly different eyes.

Just in case the 'breeder' hasn't sent off the monies owed to the
OP, here are some handy links the 'breeder' can use to decide
which method of delivery to use when sending out the long
past due refund + court costs.

USPS Priority Mail        (just for you Judron!Wink Smile)
https://tools.usps.com/go/ScheduleAPickupAction!input.action

Fed-Ex
http://www.fedex.com/us/fcl/pckgenvlp/pickup/index.html

UPS
http://www.ups.com/?Site=Corporate&cookie=us_en_home&inputImgTag=&setCookie=yes

All these places offer signature & delivery confirmation, that way
the 'breeder' can be assured the OP has finally recieved that long
overdue refund.Thumbs Up

Teufel Hunde

BahCan, I had  gotten Trupanion insurance and it was  forwarded it into her name as she requested. She then took out Healthy Paws insurance and the rest is history.

For hating people with imperfections I'm shocked she chose this lawyer.........................

Public Record of Discipline and Pending Proceedings
In re Michael John Poulakidas, 03CH0001
Disposition: Censure
Effective Date of Disposition: September 22, 2003
End Date of Disposition: Not applicable. Censures and reprimands do not affect the authority of the lawyer to continue to practice law.
Definition of Disposition: A censure reflects a determination that the lawyer has engaged in misconduct, but that the violation is not so serious to warrant a sanction that would affect the lawyer’s authority to continue to practice law. As a result, censure does not affect the authority of a lawyer to continue to practice law.
Information:
Mr. Poulakidas, who was licensed in 1998, was censured. He neglected a client’s real estate matter and then, in order to conceal his neglect, misrepresented the status of that matter and provided the client with a fictitious court order.

I am getting really sick of this public bashing which I COULD join in on with a lot of specifics, but wont.  HOWEVER, please do NOT insult those of us who are very happy with our WUSV Ch Grimm and WUSV Ch Quasy progeny.  I can assure you when Jean Schraderhaus bred Caleb, he was not just an ordinary dog and neither is my Caleb son and if you look at his lines they are not just ordinary lines.  I also think Pete and Nadeem and others are also happy with our pups.  Granted my dog is not everyone's cup of tea but in your efforts to trash Jenn you trash all of us and the kennels that bred the Sire and Dam.  Further, I don't blame Jennifer for not wanting another shepherd, because if I hadn't started rescue fostering when my dog Commander died, I really don't know if my heart could have taken another because it IS unfair to the new one if you compare them to the one in a million heart dog that some of us were lucky to have.  Jennifer has rescued so many dogs of all breeds that you all do not even realize.  So a dog, from any breeder...ANY...might have an issue.  So you don't like how it was handled....there are three sides to every story.  still, PLEASE...do not then try to denegrate dogs from progeny like Grimm and Xero and the Kennels that bred them in the process.  Thank you.

To make fun of someone for not wanting to replace a heart dog ...not very nice.
