Perhaps the swat team made a mistake or they wanted this poor guy dead
for some  unknown reason.........Pima county????

Wait for more information, before you assume it was him pointing an
inoperable weapon at 30 swat officers....A complete investigation.

Where did you find evidence that he was not pointing his rifle? I read he was on his knee pointing it. Regardless, you don't pick up a weapon period with no intent on using it. Officers cannot see anything but a weapon, as if they are going to signal time out, and ask if it is on safety. If some dipwad is going to pick up a gun, I'm going to assume he intends to use it and I'm going to take his ass out first! I can only assume a cop would defend himself in the same manner.

How many idiots have been shot for not taking their hands out of their pockets or for brandishing a cellphone, flip flop or whatever in the shadows and in a split second? If it was a BB gun or airsoft rifle, it wouldn't matter, so regardless if it was on safety or not, you don't pick it up or point it when LEO are present, unless you are a complete moron.

I suppose the LEO's should have waited to be shot at first? Make sure the bullets weren't rubber, pellets or bb's.

posted earlier in the thread ....

"Be it Known: This incident is in clear violation of the Bill of Rights, amendments II, III IV, V, VI and VIII. to the Constitution of the United States of America where every citizen has the inalienable right to keep and bear arms to protect himself against Government  tyranny or a criminal threat to his person, home or family."

--  What this Marine did is what most Americans would/will do in the same situation. This isn't land of the free and home of the brave for nothing ya know. Freedom is never free. This Marine attempted to defended the US Constitution in his own kitchen during an illegal and criminal invasion apon America as he Oathed to do both foreign and domestic. He died doing what he was trained to do and did so with his life here at home.

Beings there were NO drugs or drug paraphernalia found, all your arguements about this being standard procedure is void. What was his crime now ? A decorated Marine with known valor in his oath and US Constitution, Military apparel, medals of merit, gold, silver and his Military issued weapon ? Good luck with that being more than 1/2 America is Veteran, Reserve and active Military.

What the Dept's involved, Judge, lawyer and you supporters are actually doing is openly condoning war on the American people. Not a bright idea, if you care to know what I think. Just saying.

I would have thought Mr. Blair in Utah being killed by SWAT while he held a golf club as they busted down his door would have sparked illegal intent on the American people, I was wrong. It took killing a decorated Marine.

It is what it is. Interesting times we live in.

RIP Jose Guerena.

"Beings there were NO drugs or drug paraphernalia found, all your arguements about this being standard procedure is void. What was his crime now?"

Based on what I've read about the case, he was not suspected of being a drug dealer but of being part of a group of people who were posing as law enforcement and committing armed invasions of homes in which they suspected drug dealers were operating.  Evidence collected at his house appears to support these charges.

"A decorated Marine with known valor in his oath and US Constitution, Military apparel, medals of merit, gold, silver and his Military issued weapon ? Good luck with that being more than 1/2 America is Veteran, Reserve and active Military."

Are you one?  I am and if you aren't, I would appreciate your not speaking for me.  There is no greater insult to those of us who served honorably than to have that reputation tarnished by someone who used that traing afterward to engage in a criminal enterprise.  I hope that when the facts of this case become public, you are prepared to offer an apology to those of us you continue to insult.

Yes Keith I speak for myself at all times. I am responsible for my own "opinion". If you feel insulted, maybe there's a ripe reason for it.

Edit:  and there will be no apology from me for my "opinion", sorry.

Really?  There's a "ripe" reason for  Keith, a retired military veteran to be insulted by you?  What pray tell would that be?   Sounds like you don't really give a shit about any marine, you just want to keep repeating that a marine was killed for the emotion you hope to elicit from others.

edited to correct marine to veteran

I'm not a retired marine; just a veteran.  So, you served, did you, BE?
