Well, they're not perfect, because we should have had a 3rd person to get in front of the dog, and get her attention, so her ears were more erect, but we did manage a couple of half-decent shots, considering that it's overcast and snowing today!
My friend who was holding the camera works in an car dealership, and these were shot in the service area. Comments welcome!
Yeah, I need to learn to get the leash out of sight, and get my hand off her bum! I didn't trust her not to move her foot, but it doesn't make for a great photo, that's for sure!

She has a very nice topline

Here's a pic of her at 8 months with the ears at full attention. They look the same now as they did then.

Good pictures are hard to get, takes alot of patience. I cant count how many shots I've waisted just looking for that one great picture. They always strike wonderful pose's when I dont have the camera..LOL
Thank goodness for a digital camera..
Having helpers is a plus, and something that captures the dogs interest like a clicker or sqweaky toy.
Good luck..

I like her, she's looking good. Did you get the paperwork snafu worked out?

by Sunsilver on 09 February 2008 - 20:02
Yep, her AKC papers arrived last week...FINALLY!! Only took 9 months...
I know her pigment and ears could be better, but what do you think of her angulation and croup?

by Olga Ashley on 10 February 2008 - 00:02
Overall a nice female. Expressive female with good breed type. Very good topline, good angulation of the front and rear. High whither. Croup may be a little short, but seems to be in good position. Overall a very nice pup.

Very nice pictures...Getting a dog stacked and looking just right is a talent and takes time to get done right...I am usually doing pictures by myself and very hard to get them done right...I figure you need 3 people to get everything set properly...1 with the dog...1 taking the picture and 1 getting the dog's attention just right...and then everything must go just right for it to turn out...But I think you've done a great job at it...Wish I could do as well...

Very nice bitch. How old is she? I like to see her pedigree.
cheers

Thank you, Bob. I just wish I'd been thinking more clearly about how the final picture was going to look, but I was a bit anxious about my friend taking too much time away from her job to help me. Of course, it took about 10 pictures to get 2 half-decent ones!
Kaiser, she's just over a year. Her pedigree is here: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/523413.html
