Description
Dukenheim German Shepherds is a small kennel located in Northern California. We breed European working line dogs. Our dogs have correct conformation, good working ability and strong stable temperaments.
Our dogs have sound temperaments and strong stable nerves that make them suitable for club level IGP, Personal Protection, Search And Rescue dogs, competition tracking, competition obedience, Rally, Nose Work, Agility as well as active family companions. Our dogs do not have over the top drives, as this would make them harder to live with. I breed for stable and manageable drive dogs. Our dogs are family dogs first and foremost, that have the drive to work, but who can also settle back down and be family dogs again.
Our dogs temperaments are within the AKC and SV breed standard for a German Shepherd. We will not breed dogs that are outside of this standard. We strongly believe that a German Shepherd should be an all around dog and use this philosophy in our breeding program.
I breed for CLEAR HEADED dogs!
All of our breeding dogs are OFA hip, elbow and dental certified and DM tested before being bred. They will either have IGP title, A.S. (American Schutzhund), an AKC obedience title or other working title before being bred.
