This is Chesney. Chesney was returned to me a couple of months ago, just shy of his 5th birthday because the owners were overwhelmed with a new baby. Chesney is an outgoing character who has not had consistent boundaries for the first 5yrs of his life. He loves to play two ball and tug. He is quite fun loving and perky! I have a blast with him playing ball and tug, but he does not have excessive drive and energy. Chesney is not overly friendly to all people, he does show discretion. He will do best with someone with experience with strong dogs, however, he is very easily trained and extremely responsive. He really needs a family, he is not a kennel dog. He will do best with adults and older children. So far he has not shown dog aggression, (male or female), I have not seen him around cats.
Chesney would be an excellent dog for someone who lives alone or on a large property and is looking for a companion as well as a deterrent.
Chesney has been diagnosed as Hypothyroid while with me, and is being regulated and treated. He is currently UTD (June 2013) on all vaccines and is on heartworm preventative.
