anyone from Utica New York heilp GSD in very bad shape - Page 1

There are 2 12 week old pups 2 adult males 3 year old bred 3 weeks ago. This man has them in very dirty kennels, they have no bowls, he said they eat their leftovers. He told me they were up to date on everything, when I called his vet he had not had any in since 2010. He did get puppy shots on last litter. He has ad in want ad digest. He also has 2 border collie pups one looked to be around 6 weeks, the other not more than 4 weeks. When I confronted him about this he blamed his broken english and working 24 hour days along with having 8 children. I have put complaints in to his vet, the Utica police and have left many messages to animal control with no call back. The policewoman called me back and said when she went she saw one adult, The poor males are fenced with large chains around their necks. We were able to purchase one adult from him. He just put new ad in want ad digest with female female good mommy and 2 pups that female is already bred. I am 2 hours away, disabled and dont have enough money to get her or I would and have her fixed and find good home. I am trying to get help in my area, but its hard. I have a no kill shelter that may be able to take her. She is sooo sweet.

Hey Pat- I am not very far from there. IF you can get the dogs out of there, I will gladly take them in, get them in shape, and rehome them.
I am NOT however in a financial position to buy they. Between getting my new pup, rebuilding the transmission on my 89 Chevy, I certainly have had to tighten my belt.
Get them to me, and I will certainly "fatten them up, socialize them, and rehome though....

Thank you so much Joni. I will try to get the female first but she is bred. Do you have any way of taking her in that condition? I will come up with the money to buy her  However I have to get someone else to go, he may shoot me if he sees me again!!!

I too, am in no position to buy a dog, but I do have everything to whelp a litter and my new puppy kennel (indoor/outdoor welded wire, on a 10X15 covered deck with its own lighting and soon to be fans) I would need help placing puppies and momma, but I can surely whelp and take care of the little ones until they are ready to go. Still in NC :)

Thanks  Melissa  North Carolina is a long way. I am close to kitkat. I would like to be able to have her fixed, but I cant afford to buy her as well. Thanks for your offer. Im trying to get someone to go get her,as he wont deal with me again. I have left messages with a few rescues in my area. Wish I could get all of them, its so sad. As she is already bred I want to save her asap.

I DO see you are always willing to help. There can NEVER be tooo much help with so many dogs in need.

My Sister lives about 3 hrs away ,she wrote Comments in the Utica news and has phone calls into them , waiting for a response ,tommorow.
