Mali X GSD

GSD/Mal it is very common today in Germany. We will see more of these mixes bred in the USA to. I have notice they are being sold to police departments and some are good some are not. I have seen some that look like a GSD Rob

Very young GSD,  maybe  no Mali in him at all.

Mal/Dutchie because I can see a bit of brindle on his head and earshape.

From the time my current schutzhund dog was born until he was way passed 2 years old, I had people who were familiar with GSDs and Mali's constantly ask me if  my dog was a Mali or a Mali/GSD mix.  In fact , although my  dog is  a much darker sable, at around 18 months he had a head exactly like the pictured dog (conformation wise), lightish eyes and all.   It wasn't until after his 3rd year that  my ugly little anvil headed coyote grew into his head and ears, his eyes darkened, his head got broader  and he is now a much better looking working boy, and nobody mistakes him for a Malinois.  The shape of the pictured  dog's head is distinctly GSD to me.  He has a very defined stop, his ears are typical of a GSD.  Also as far as the coloring of the dog in the pictures,  he is very young, he looks to have a skin condition, maybe mange, so if his coat is very very thin and/or moth eaten, his true coloring is not going to be obvious at this point.
