Lower and upper lips - Page 1

Some of the photos of dogs posted on this site and others show dogs having red lower lips. What is this condition? Also, why do older dogs seem to have white discoloration under the nose and to the sides of the muzzle?

I don't know about the red lips Mikeee but are you referring to gray hair on the muzzle?  Some dogs acquire it sooner than others, as young as 4 to 5 yrs of age.
