These 2 photos are of Haska when she was younger. The ears have not changed much and she is now 10 months old. When relaxing the ears will separate and look fine. Here is a video of her this past weekend (please disregard the crazy prey barks, we have not worked her enough) I just wanted you to be able to see her ears in movement. http://s303.photobucket.com/albums/nn127/dogladyj/?action=view¤t=haska2.flv
What are the chances of them correcting themselves at this age and how much of a fault is it? She was shown under a USA Kormeister at 6 months and he made no comment about the ears.

I know some people say NOT to mess with the ears, I had a very old Vet tell me to stroke the ears up and rub them inbetween your fingers like your milking a cows utters but up. The rubbing will cause the cartalige to "scar" and if you have ever had a cut or callous - that thickness is what is caused by the rubbing. My dogs love for me to rub there ears now , as puppies not so much.
Good luck ,

I had an American bred showline bitch her ears did the same thing until she was about 1yr old. They were called bonnet ears. Hers actually crossed over each other. I just massaged the ears outwards. Take time, but they went straight. She was a sable also. She is now.. CH. Rohan's Glass Slipper,OFA H&E,ROM
