Let us know if he goes back to squatting as he gets a little older.
My pup was a horrible leg humper at 8-10 wks, but he is not the least bit dominant, and I don't think he will be.
My truly dominant dog never humped anything, so who knows.

Good Grief! Aren't you putting the cart before the horse if you are breeding and don't know this! Stop breeding and learn something, then breed.
Dominant? I doubt it, submissive or insecure is more likely.

When one knows so little about canine development, we can always hope for the best.....dominance....my a@#. What a thing to try to brag about!

No, I quit smoking and so should you. This topic is beyond stupid.

He hasn't lifted his leg again tonight. When I say the dog is dominant, it is because he bullies his siblings and when a new noise, sound, person, creature approaches he is the first one to investigate and if need be engage. But I keep forgetting that EVERYTHING must be spell out for some people.
The lifting the leg and humping at this age are just cute bc they are puppies. GET IT, P-U-P-P-I-E-S!
I am out: T and B
