How about some good news for a change?

A German Shepherd Dog K9 with the Wheat Ridge, CO police department apprehended a fleeing suspect today. The suspect tried to hide in a crawl space and the dog was sent in after him. The bad guy tried to strangle the dog and the dog bit him several times. A charge of second degree assault for trying to strangle the dog was filed against the bad guy, among other charges. The dog is fine. The suspect is hospitalized.

Here's the whole story:

Sam1427,
Way to go for the K9.

The dog is fine. The suspect is hospitalized.

Awesome and that's the way it should be.  Glad the dog and handler are safe.

YEAH for the K-9 and the good guys!!! One of my dogs might soon be doing the same thing as a department is contemplating a purchase.

by Sam1427 on 04 March 2010 - 04:03

Sounds good. I hope that works out, Hodie.

I hope the dog shredded the miserable inbred loser.

He also looks like fetal alcohol syndrome-so he's not too bright.

The suspect is lucky to be alive, apparently he rammed two police cruisers head on, the first officer fired two shots thru his windshield. When he rammed the second cruiser both vehicles burst into flames.

He's lucky he only got bit. What a jerk, I hope he gets a long sentence.
