bulldogs

No this isnt my first breeding with Bulldogs!  Yes you are right the other two pups haved gained 2 ounces each day, that one pup has only gained one ounce total weight in 11 days. I havent had any real big problem with any breeding so far with Bulldogs or Shepherds. This one pup is strong crawls around, cries when its hungry. Yes puppies are plenty warm in the house in a room thats I call the dog room. the room is set at 78 degrees. I did 2 breedings one 2 days after she crossed over by her blood test then skipped a day then bred again. Now I understand the two big pups could be from the first breeding and the small pup could be from last breeding, but that would mean its just behind it would still gain weight but just be smaller then the other 2. This one puppy hasnt gained all but one ounce,

I don't believe i was commenting on whether or not you've bred before.... just asking questions to try and get the facts straight.....

You have 2 pups that are both over 2lbs and one that's 11 oz, I don't think that's normal at all... guess I'd be making a trip to the vet.. although I have to say that I have had this happen here and there thru the years and its generally an indication that something is not right .. this pup must be dehydrated...if its only gained 1 oz, it has not gotten enough fluid or nutrition and more than likely the vet won't find anything glaringly wrong either......

Maybe try some subQ fluids.. see if that helps.. and the room can be whatever temp but if that pup is cold internally, it doesn't matter. Have you taken this pups temp?
Wish I could help more but its hard when you can't see how things look

I am assuming that you are bottle feeding pup or are you putting them with there mother every couple of hours? I know most people don't keep BD pups with mother because the are bad about rolling, laying on them. Have you tried going to the Leerburg site he has a puppy formula that he swears buy 11calories per cc  v other formula at 3 cal.cc if your concern is weight gain. And maybe try the puppy heating pads instead of keeping room so hot. The pups can crawl on and off at there comfort. I went to a friends a couple of weeks ago to see his litter and he had it so hot in there I thought I was going to throw up. And bulldogs don't like heat just try keeping room comfortable use(puppy) heating pad to keep core temp. appropriate.I have a bulldog too they are the most AWESOME little dogs!!! Except for GSD of course.
