I just received this gorgeous guy in, he is very dog aggressive, supposedly great with people, but I see abit of very much standoffishness with strangers...he moves beautifully, came from Oregon, I have only had him a couple of days now...anyone recognize him or want to give him a try? He is obedience trained. Not sure what else he knows yet. 5 yrs old, he is a big guy, very athletic...StukaSteph

He is handsome.Where in OR? THere are a few breeders out there that have dogs that look like this.Although most have more of a dark eye. The one I dog my dog from was in OR.She didn't tattoo the ears.I had to do that later. Sucks when they are dog aggressive....not so easy to find a home for.That is why I kept the one I got that is dog aggressive.He is a work in progress. Good luck to you steph.

He came from the shelter near Multinomah County??? (sp)...don't know where exactly, think it is near the coast...I drove to Dayton, WA to meet the transport person...13 hours round trip...it was a bit further than I originally thought...LOL...
But a beautiful drive non the less, along the river and over the pass...nice green grass on the other side too....
I need to get back to you with a real email one of these days, I have been swamped here...come on up if you can get a chance to get away...need to repair my spare bedroom, from a friend that dropped of his 3 GSD's for me to puppy sit for him. They ruined my spare bed, it was a muddy mess here, and they liked the bed...have to replace everything....yuk!!!!

Steph that's a nce looking hunk of dog.
Had to look twice and make sure I wasn't missing one of mine. The similarities are so striking.

Steph my hat's off to you. If I could take on another dog, he'd be on the way here now. You'll find the right place for him though.

There is absolutely no interest in this guy because of the dog aggression thing...any help out there would be greatly appreciated...he is too big for me too handle with the handicap I have right now. I didn't know he was as big as he is....
Please anyone know of someone that could take and work with this dog???

Crap Steph!! I am going to be out of my place come the end of March and moving in with a friend till this one house I want opwns up.(people are just renting till their house is built) I would be able to work with that dog as I am working with the aggressive one i have but have no room for it at my friends.It is already going to be hard with my 3 dogs he 2 and a hawk!! UUUhhhhgggg I wish I had the place I want now.It is such an ideal set up. I will see if there is anyone out here. I will post his pic on my one FB page where I have your rescue info.He is such a handsome guy.

Wow is he a looker but the dog aggression thing is gonna be a deal breaker for him in a lot of cases but there's always that person that will pop up that doesn't have kids or other pets who has the love and time to devote to work on his "issues".
