6 yrs ago my husband and I were looking localy for a gsd female. So we got a guys number and made an appointment.Well when we got there all I saw was malmutes.I turned to my husband and said maybe he has the gs somewhere else?Well I asked the guy where are the shepherds and he replies right there...pointing at the malmutes!Well at that moment his phone rang so he excused himself..I turned to my husband and said...do you want to tell him or should I...those are NOT german shepherds...so I told him that those weren`t gs and the guy was looking at me like I was CRAZY! He must have been on some good drugs,we left....lol

I had that happen once. The male was some weird big brown thing and the ears were stubs and he was solid brown he was not a german shepherd by all means.
The worst part of the story is the puppies were all AKC registered.
I kept looking at the male stud dog and kept asking are you sure this is a registered german shepherd.
The pups looked like grey and white colored dogs and the ears looked crazy. They were skinny and I just don't know.
I wondered for a long time what I just seen??
At least you could tell what they were. lol.
And at least they were not registered.
good story
