I find things very strange in some ways that if you can carry Firearms and knives about, but in some places as one on here says it is illegal to house a Dog out doors in a Kennel and Run, and if you own a dog it has to live in the house what are the priorities in that country all about, But regards the Dog above i think it is a case of wanton evil on the Guys involved but i guess the truth will never be known

I'm glad the kids had all their air soft gear on .. and by chance, one with a knife.
I remember in school, the police brought their dogs in to display narc searches and apprehension. The police left one dog in a car outside with the window down some and that dog broke out the window and mauled a kid in the parking lot. Mauled an innocent kid.
Steve, I think the fact that police dogs who bust outta windows and kennels that maul kids who are minding their own business getting the bravery award is bass ackwards. If you people think that a police dog has the authority to do what it wants in public like mauling children when ever where ever and legally allowed to break outta kennels and windows at free will .... well I think that says it all.
BTW, the police dog in the school parking lot was shot by the gym coach, twice.

However, a lot of it doesn'ta dd up.
If the dog wandered around and attacked the kids out of the blue, then the kids should be compensated by the state or whoever has jurisdiction for their medical bills, trauma etc...
BUT... if the dog was "minding his own business"and the kids shot their paint guns at him, then he atacked (which was my initial suspicion afterI read the article), then it gets a bit muddled.
For now, I will hesitantly side with the kids, just by judging/reading the story, however, a complete investigation should be done to determine the exact circumstances.
I have a feeling they were "messing with the dog"and started shooting their paint guns at him initialy maybe they thought it was great fun.
We'll see.

Not belittling this incident BabyEagle, but I'm astounded that the gym coach had a gun on him. Is this normal?
