I'm watching "I am an animal: Ingrid Newkirk" on HBO and am getting more ill by the moment.  The skewed view is actually nauseating.  It states that "included are interviews with critics (made to look like idiots) and supporters" but it's obviously making PETA look like one of the noblest organizations in history.  How do you open peoples' eyes to their true agenda?  I think we should get together and start a new group for the ethical USE of animals.  The general public is not only gullible, but really stupid.  The bell (curve) tolls again!

The general public is not only gullible, but really stupid

You said it!!!  Like a flock of sheep that can't think for themselves or educate themselves. It is just easier to follow then to lead or think on their own. I think that people of PETA and the other extreeeeem orgs need to go get their own little island and leave the other people and animals alone.Cause that aren't helping in the right way and aren't educated enough to think outside the box as to what cause and effect their twisted ideas would have on the world. There may be a few things I agree with but I am not an extreemest

Yeah, people are sucked in by this. It doesn't help when true news pieces are run showing puppy mills and bad farming practices. It just makes people think that ALL breeders of animals are this way.

I was pleasantly surprised the other day, when the show "How It's Made" had a piece on this totally awesome automated diary farm. If more things like this were aired, it would help get some balance.

Yes, it sure would be nice to see some more balanced views! Two of my uncles were dairy farmers. They knew all their cows by name, and really cared for them. One of them had a beautiful, spotless barn with the latest pipeline milking system, and a $20,000 Harvestore silo to provide better food for the cows. Meanwhile, his overalls had patches on patches, and his house didn't even have an indoor toilet!

The "Newkirkites" need to go stage a mass suicide of themselves and begin removing the cancer of humanity from this earth, starting with themselves.  Meanwhile, the rest of us will enjoy this earth and our stewardship over it, and our PETS, WORKING DOGS, and other "Slaves"!

I'm shaking my head at the ignorance of the human species in general...Are there only a few of us who can still think, critically or otherwise?

Yikes!

Solution: cancel HBO and tell them why you're cancelling.   Then ask everyone you know who has a dog to do the same.

If it costs them enough money, HBO will stop airing PETA propaganda.

Well I don't watch tv as it is.Don't have cable. So I am one step ahead.lol I am 35 but I have noticed that the world...not just the US is dumbing down.(have to say I have noticed it alot in the US cause I am here) IMO I think there should be breeding regulations on people.Isn't it the Chinese that can only have one child? I can't believe the amount of people...just in the town I am in that have 5 kids or so and don't have the $$ to sport them. Then they go and get a dog or other animals and neglect them. I mean really!! I know comman sence isn't that comman but come on!!! If you can't afford yourself...why have kids? Oh thats right to get the gov to support you. I understand people needing help as this economy sucks but  don't have 10 kids in the mean time. Yet PETA worries about breeders....reputible ones that breed cause they have buyers and are trying to improve the bloodlines etc. I think they need to take a long hard look at the rest of what is going on in the world and maybe try to do something more appropriate that would help it!!
