I was just loading pics on Photobucket and got a red screen warning that the site is unsafe, contains malicious ware and virus. Has anyone else gotten this warning???

close your site and do not use it until you re boot.... it may be a false warning..your computor may shut it down...but do not download any ones spyware to stop it..that is a scam in itself..My computor man said do not touch any of those warnings...your computor virus program should handle it...it is a fraud warning to get you to download something not needed...

The whole screen went red and the warning SAID it was from Microsoft. I had just loaded pics and was tagging them. I closed it.

Never had a problem with it, nor have I seen that warning. I bet is just an attempt to get you to click on the popup.

My computer did that to me on some site and like a dummy that freaked out and jumped the gun downloaded something that screwed it al up.So yea....don't download anything. I later saw that some thing that said it was going to "protect" my computer was on some site warning people about it.Would have been nice to be warned a bit sooner.(or for me to not be so dumb)

THIS is where I meant to post this.
I have power, some don't just blocks away. There are lines down on my daughter's street but the outage is up the hill and she's fine. Transformers were blowing all over the place, looked like lightening. My lights flickered all night Friday but didn't go out, thank goodness! We'll see what tomorrow brings. I'm glad we had a couple days reprieve, it was crazy trying to get it all shoveled out. You can't put it in the street and my front yard is STEEP so as I piled it up, it would fall back down, like a mini avalanche. Up until now it's been the light fluffy stuff that you can just push, this stuff is wet and heavy, back-breaker.

Unless your own virus scan warns you this could be adware, spyware, from a third party using the site you visit.
I have had warnings from websites wanting me to let them scan my system because they detected a virus,
ITS A SCAM!!
and I would back out delete files and cache, and reboot the browser, if worried do a virus scan of your own.
