My bitch had a mammary removed about 2.5 weeks ago, and now she's sprung a watery leak. As I recall, this is just a matter of waiting until it's dry...any words of advice? It's not horrifying or anything, just a slow leak. The pocket is only about the size of half an egg.

Keep the area clean and let it drain.I had an insicion ofter a surgery and it filled up with fluid and busted open.I just put hot packs on it to draw out anymore liquid. You can do that with your dog as well.It needs to heal from the inside out. Just make sure that the fluid doesn't become stinky or a white/green discharge.

Thanks, LAV, the fluid is clean and clear. Will do a hot compress.
