would be impossible to know. any stress can knock them off-kilter. You can check her with ultrasound at about 4 weeks to see if she's pregnant.

Never had that happen --- What happened to her to require surgery ? Was it an emergency ? --- Was your vet aware that you had bred her ? Hope that all is well with her.

It will probably be okay if the surgery was minor and she recieved no steroids I shipped one to Ohio once to be bred to a Ch they bred her shipped her back and the day after I got her back the dogs throat inexplicably swelled up and she was rasping and weezing so I rushed her in to the Vet, they had her knocked out, scoping her this and that and the other thing Oi Vey Anyhow fast forward 9 weeks she had 12 puppies
