My dad has danes, and someone sent this to him.  I don't know, but that first picture looks fake to me.  Computerized.  The second one kinda does too.  Something like that picture going around with the huge English Mastiff.

I thought the same RS.  However, I think the pix in the SUV looks real.  ??  Who knows....

I first looked at it too and was wondering.THat first pic I thought was a painting....but then in the park, and in the car......looking at it's structure it could be.Just like the people that have that pituitary thing and they are 8ft tall.Could happen!! Poor thing probably won't have a long life.

I don't think they would have documentation if it was fake........
I think the pics are distorted because of the angle they were taken.......but if the dog is truly the size measured?!...he really is extremely large!  .....We'll just wait and see when Guinness Book of Records posts the results......
Just the thought of "cleaning" up after him????!!!.......farm animals come to mind!

I've always loved Danes. Have a friend who actually does Schutzhund with hers (she says the biggest problem is he has a very gentle bite *heh*).

It's a pity they have such a short lifespan. I've heard anywhere from 6yrs to 10yrs. I couldn'y imagine losing a dog when he was only six.
