This was listed on MSN as a home-based business you can started "on the cheap". 55 ideas were listed and 9 on the list:
9. DOG BREEDER
Experience, training or licensing may be needed
Before finding the appropriate mate for your female dog, you need to make sure she is in impeccable physical condition for her mothering responsibilities. You need to be sure you have an adequate and safe place for her to have her puppies and know what to do if something goes wrong. And you need to know all about raising puppies. You could raise a male dog that you use as a stud. This is not as easy as it may seem. In order for your male dog to command any kind of worthwhile stud fee, you need to get him starting out at a young age to earn points in competition. But your stud will have to have been incredibly well bred himself and earn his name in the world before you can ask high prices for breeding fees.

Here's a grizzly I photographed in Yellowstone. I love bears, just don't want to be on their dinner menu.

Funny Lav, I was getting a little too close for comfort getting that shot. I was in the trees and didn't realize how close I'd gotten looking through the camera lens. Thankfully, I was downwind and Drake was in the car. Stupid tourist, LOL.

I have a friend who used to live in Silvergate and a Grizzly would visit his garbage cans every night.
Ten feet away with nothing between them but a screen door.
He thought that was great until the bear turned and looked right at him one night.
He said he didn't sleep right for a month jumping at every noise he heard.
Needless to say they did move out of the park up to Livingston.
Even there out of the park his crew was treed by a bear while surveying for a land company.
The year I visited a man and his wife had been attacked in camp by a bear.
They had broken all the rules and the man had teeth marks from his belly button to his spine, I still have the article from the local papers.
Ya gotta respect wild animals.
They are beautiful, at the proper distance.
I wanna go back before I get too old to enjoy it, might even stop in on Steph if I ever make it back.
I've been around Black bears several times, there is no comparison.
