I'm sure there is a long story here, can you elaborate a little more?

I take it your not in Denmark ?

Dunno.

Can you locate a local paper in the region, place an ad?

Check out this thread, it is long, but full of information on what these people did to get their dog back. And even better is that it has a happy ending. Good luck and get busy, your dog needs you to find him/her.

I guess I better hold my tongue as to how people do not even know who they are addressing..

Dan and Marilyn:    I am so sorry that you lost your dog...Of all the people in the whole wide world, you are the last ones to lose a dog and unbelievable as this is,,,it shows all Americans,,,even the top GSD people in the sport and breeding can

LOSE A DOG

GOD BLESS and I hope you find your dog.

This is but a suggestion. I presume that while in Danemark you may have visited a GSD kennel. Perhaps they can help to spread the word about your missing dog.

If this is not the case, I suggest that you contact one of the larger kennels there to see if they can tell you who is the best contact for your needs. A well-known kennel is the Kennel Wildmarken (website http://www.wildmarken.dk/ ) and their Email address is wildmarken@mail.tele.dk .

This is a successful kennel and there is probably someone there who understands enough English to assist you.

Good Luck!

Dan is an AKC GSD breeder (Darby-Dan) and an AKC judge

Please do not be telling them to get busy and find their dog and  keep tongue in mouth if you do not know of whom you are speaking to...

If you have knowledge of Denmark connections  , then this is what they are asking.. Sorry guys, but I cannot sit here and not advise those who are less than knowledgeable about GSD world of breeders, Judges and have not a clue who these people are, to keep opinions and remarks to themselves unless it is curteous and of help.

Even top gsd people lose a dog or something happens that is not able to be helped/

We do not need to know what happened , If you  have connections speak up if not give your condolences and greetings  of  Good luck   and   nothing else.

Oh, I know who this is... Dan, my condolences on the loss of Jim v. Fiemereck last year. He was so well known and loved by posters here that there was a lengthy thread about him when he passed. I'm sure you must still miss him very much.

I second the idea of contacting one of the larger Danish kennels, and finding someone there who can speak English, and help you get the word out.  I'm sorry, I don't have any contacts I can suggest.

I wish you the best of luck in finding him.
