I NEED HELP WITH A TATTOO NUMBER, I AM NOT SURE THE FIRST NUMBER IS 1 BUT 1 JOFAR8, IS THE BEST I CAN TELL AFTER SHAVING AND CLEANING THE EAR...WOULD THAT BE??? 2008 LITTER, MEANING 12 YRS OLD???

A litter born in 2008 wouldn't be 12 years of age...this is only 2010, after all. It would be a 2 year old dog. Edited to add: Read your other post and saw her pics...guessing you meant a 1998 litter, not 2008.

Can't help you with the tattoo, unfortunately, but you could try contacting Yvonne Hecht @ yhecht@kc.rr.com. She can run the tattoo number through her WinSYS database and see if it matches anything there.

Am sending you something to help take care of this old gal. If I lived in MT, she could come live with my two 14 year olds.

It appears to be a USA tattoo.
I is the region
J is the person who did the tattoo
0 is the yuears of birth - 2000
FA in the kennel name
R8 - dogs name starts with R and is the eighth dog registered in the litter

The kennel FA belongs to
Traci Needles
13213 Orchard Blossom LN
Chico, CA 95973

But something is off as her "R" litter was born in 1998, but maybe she can help you.
