Krazy Bout K9s

by Krazy Bout K9s on 11 January 2010 - 18:01

I am beginning to hate people....well not all of you...LOL...

I am heading out the door here shortly, (don't anyone tell that I am driving) 2 1/2 hours one way to get a senior female, purebred GSD, that a guy tied to the rail of a bar he used to frequent and left the dog there...never came back... The dog is supposedly blind, I think it may just be pannus, and loves cats and kids. Someone brought it to the pound and they just called me said she wasn't doing well in there...going crazy....Please Help!!!

What a way to leave your best friend. And yes in Montana we bring dogs and even sometimes the horses into the bars...ROFL...
Anyhow, will post some pics when I pic her up...
Later,
On the Road Again Steph

I agree with you.I hate people....the stupid ones that disregard their pets, abuse them or just don't care about them. I can't even imagine the things you have seen being in a rescue.I see enough of it here as a friend of mine is in Animal Control.I use to want to have that job but then it is probably good I'm not. I wish you the best and hope that the dog is ok.

Mystere

Presumably, somebody at that bar knows the guy and his particulars. How long was the dog tied there? With food and water, or not? Any ordinace regarding tying a dog out? What a moron....and an ass to dothis to a dog that, presumably, he has had for several years. ¶Maybe, the owner has simply come upon such hard times that he really cannot keep the dog...and stopped drinking?

Chores done before I could go, dogs moved around, etc, checked in here.

He (the guy) was drinking at the bar and left the dog tied inside to the foot rail of the bar. When he used to go in, to drink,  people would give the dog treats...The owner of the bar kept the dog for one week, thinking the guy just forgot it. They knew his first name but not his last or where he lived, supposedly.
I think he figured that someone would just take the dog home with them..

The bar owner finally brought the dog to animal control. They called me because she is not doing well in there, shelter...go figure. And they got dumped on this weekend too and no room.

Catch up later when I get home and get some photos of the dog...poor girl...I had better not run into him...
Bye for now, Steph

Two Moons

A drunk did not return to his favorite bar?
I wonder if he's out back by the dumpster froze to death while taking a leak.
How deep was the snow?
Any sign of Yellowsnow?

I don't believe no one in the bar knew who the guy was or where he lived.
Did anyone go looking?

Ya never really know until you know.

he is a dog which I rescued last week. LIttle over 2 years old CKC registered, the owner did not have time for him so took him to SPCA in Montreal . One more day and the dog would be put down. Now I have to make sure that I will find him forever loving home.

Red Sable

Very nice looking dog Iwona, looks like a gsd I used to have.  I'm glad you saved him.  All the best in finding him a great home!

I hope you find your girl a home to Steph.  I thought my job was stressful, but it is nothing compared to what you go through with all these floozy dog owners.  Unreal.
