The most unusual breed to me that I personally know of was a Chesapeake Bay Retriever.  I can't remember his name or his handler's name but they were from the Ft Worth TX area.

German Shorthair Pointer with a Sch 1 in the magazine a few years back.

I know/know of two Schh3 border collies - three Schh3 labradors (one yellow, the other two black), a chessie, a collie, and a corgi, several australian shepherds, a heeler, a cane corso, and an english mastiff - not sure they were Schh3 but definately Schh1.

I still remember a video of a JRT doing schutzhund... but don' t know if he was officially titled or not.

Mr Murphy...
"Mr. Murphy turned out to be an out of control Terrier that needed "guidance". So I returned to my old club and started to train the little monster. Out of a joke we also tried some bite work on him and he was just super. So we got our BH 1999 and the only reason why he never got a Schutzhund title was that he could not jump the meter jump and the A-frame. "

(according to his owner's website @ vangoghkennels.com/aboutMe.htm )

I trialed with a rough coated collie. The collie got its SchH1...I still remember the long bite. She nearly took the helper down.

Our corgi's seem to have a Sch heart inside their little bodies!

Molly, I cannot imagine an english mastiff getting titled. The one we had needed a german shep. around to wake him up when someone drove up. He was lazy and like an old redbone hound that stayed on the front porch and maybe barked.

this one (english mastiff) was pretty lazy too.  I didn't say he did anything quickly LOL - but his owner kept him lean and fit, so he could move when he decided to - I saw him get his BH (like watching paint dry) and heard later he got his Schh1.  Years (and years) ago, in NC.
