My about 16-year old border collie had to be put to sleep today. He had a stroke few days ago and was not stabilizing and had stopped eating also. He was a sweet boy to all but my one GSD male when he was a pup. I remember the first day I saw the litter of pups at my cutting horse trainers. Super working lines he used to move his cattle. This pile of nice black and white pups except for the one white one with a black ear. Joe asked what that one should be called and I said "Blackie". From then on he was Blackie, and mine. I will miss him, he was so sweet. May he rest in peace between running and playing at the bridge.

Sorry to here of your Old Dog passing on it is hard to take but think of the good years you had together

Tina I am so sorry for your loss. They always leave an empty spot in our heart, but it is the spot that we have our memories.
Keep them close. I lost Astra a year ago this month, I talk to her everyday because I know she is always with me, I made a short film of her and posted it on youtube, it took me many months to do it but I am glad I did. Again I am so sorry.

Wow! 16 years of devotion. What a great life you gave him. Sorry to hear about his passing. RIP Blackie.
