I am looking for this dog because he/she is closely related to my dog Orso, who needs a kidney transplant.

I will pay $2000 plus all expenses to this dog’s owner if the dog is a good match with Orso and the owner will have the dog donate a kidney to save my dog’s life.

Orso is a 3 year old German Shepherd who is suffering from kidney dysplasia (genetic kidney failure). We are looking for a good hearted person who owns a dog of the same bloodline to become a kidney donor to save our family member. We have been in contact with the leading kidney translplant surgeon in the country and we have been reassured of the saferty of the procedure for the donor dog (both humans and dogs only need one kidney for completely normal life). We are open to all possibilities including buying a dog or financial compensation for the owner of the donor dog. We would also take care of all expenses associated with transportation and full recovery of the donor dog. Our dog came from Kraftwerk K9, his father was V-Ursus aus dem Furstentum Lippe and mother Amie von der Mamutsschlucht. Orso was born on December 2, 2006. Currently Orso is in critical condition and will die without a transplant. Please help us save Orso.

Here is Orso’s picture and pedigree:

We UNDERSTAND that you are seaking a Kraftwerk dog owners.......enough already!

if you go to each of the dogs' sites and click on update history you can find the person who listed each dog into this database.

if you click on the name of the person, that peoson's page will open up, many times an e-mail address is listed.

you could try sending e-mail to each of these people.......

in every case, you can click on the link to sent a PM,

I sincerely hope that you an owner that's willing to give you the kidney your dog so desperately needs, and am praying for you.

Sitasmom- I see you are playing forum moderator again. The dogs are being listed individually in hopes of attracting more attention. Many times the people who make changes are not the owner etc. So ENOUGH ALREADY from YOU!!!!!!!!!!! I sincerely hope you never need assistance from anyone here, your obnoxious nattering about other peoples posts is really horrificly annoying!!!!!! Your redundant posting of garbage has clogged this board more times than I care to recall. NOW ENOUGH FROM YOU ALREADY,OK?!!!!!!

Bump...

post on susan!

This is what this forum is for....may you find the kidney you are searching for.

There is really not that many new post on this forum. So if you are tired of reading these 'seeking' threads than get off the computer and enjoy some time with your german shepherd and check the forum tomorrow.
If you can't find the strength to do this may God help you. :-)

Cheers.

how many people would be willing to compromise a perfectly healthy dog to save a terminally ill one?  its not that i am not sympathetic; i am.  but realistically, how many people would do that?

I would if I had a dog that matches.

by SitasMom on 04 January 2010 - 04:01

Many people that have dogs on this forum do not log on any more, by finding the personal e-mails, finding a possible match might be more likely.

Its easy to do.........I even gave instructions to go directly to the source
.
Another thought would be to ask Kraftwerk for their client list, or ask them to send a note to their clients.

Sitasmom, who went on a "clog the pdb campaign of her own recently, for once, actually had something to contribute. Kim's suggestions were good ones. However, as pointed out, the person who posts the pedigree, or changes to it, if often NOT the owner. But, contacting those persons by PM or email may yield more leads. Classified ads may work, too. Also, have you tried seeking assistance via the various email lists? It does not appear from any of the posts in General Topics, or by Alex in the gsd section that Kraftwerk has been contacted at all? Is that the case? Zigenfarm also makes a good point. JMHO
