ANY NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS 4 YOU & YOUR DOGS? - Page 1

happy new years to all!
any resolutions for the year 2010? striving for a title or another one? getting your dog out more?
i am determined to get angus's new little mutt puppy housebroken!
i am getting all of our dogs into some extra activity: claire and angus into agility (god knows, with angus, it'll keep me laughing), and the pup, boscoe, into real obedience classes (he's just finished the socialization phase - that was fun-he had a blast with a 5 mo dobie and a really pretty 5 mo gsd-they wrestle just like his own big dogs!) a friend wants me to get into rally & possibly try herding with angus.
so, anyone going to do anything interesting with their pooches?

GOING TO RAISE UP A PAIR OUT OF DINKIES SPRING LITTER.  REALLY NEED TO WEAN MYSELF OFF THE 3 DAILY 4OZ BOTTLES OF EL YUCATECO HABANERO CHILE HOT SAUCE I CONSUME.  GOING TO USE BOB MCKOWNS MILF AND COUGAR PICK UP LINES. IN EVERY ASPECT OF MY LIFE I WILL ASK MYSELF WWBD. (WHAT WOULD BOB DO)
HANG OUT MORE IN MILF AND COUGAR TARGET RICH ENVIRONMENTS.  VOLUNTEER MORE OFTEN AT THE SOUP KITCHEN.  DATE MORE HOMELESS CHICKS BECAUSE WHEN THE DATE IS OVER YOU CAN DROP THEM OFF ANYWHERE.  FORM A BAND AND GO ON TOUR WITH BOB MCKOWN.  TAKE BOB MCKOWN TO THE NEXT GATHERING AND SCREAM WOOP WOOP AT EVERYONE WE SEE MCL.

I just sat down with my granddaughter and we both wrote our hopes for the coming year. Drake is on the top of my list.  Finances will be tight so we'll start where we can, most likely in OB.  The past year was full of many different life changes, some of the worst I've yet endured.  Of course, our travels will remain as one of the greatest accompishments to date, a tribute to overcoming hardships.  This year will hopefully bring some needed peace and closure, along with making life our life a bit more "normal".  He gave me the courage to move forward so I will resolve to do whatever it takes to keep him in shape and happy.  We have settled in to our new home and made some adjustments.  Now we can look ahead to a brand new future... together, of course.  Happy New Year!

I plan to get Ally's SchH 1 finally, and start a new puppy. Read at least 50 books, even if some of them are cheapo mysteries. Do Yoga! 

nothing wrong with cheapo mysteries! this past year seems to have been an unusually tough one for some people, but, altho i don't check in much anymore, they seem to be hanging in there, sometimes even with a laugh and a smartass attitude (shelley has to pay alimony???? what a world. i'd send it to him in loose pennies!) good luck to you, gsdtravels, you've kept your chin up. oh ronnie, what can i say, but woop woop....
VM, good luck with the title on ally and have a ball with a new pup! yoga? i like pilates, but no time for me....i do intend to block out at least an hour a day for painting....but i don't know if i can find an hour for people-pretzel time. well, i've poured myself some champagne, fed the dogs, gotta get dinner for the menfolk-thank god i made all those tamales! 

To have fun.  If we get titles that's a bonus. 

Help my daughter with her SchH1, KKL1, and some more AKC titles. I sure would like a CDX on my old girl before I retire her. I have my eye on a new puppy for myself, too.

Continue to look for the good in others, do not stress over things I cannot change, continue to make Schutzhund fun for my dog.

MY NEW YEAR IS STARTING OFF FUNKY. I MET A NEW COUGAR LAST NIGHT. THIS MORNING ME AND DINK WERE REALLY HUNGOVER. MY NEW GF ASKS ME WHAT I HAD TO EAT? I TOLD HER ALL WE HAD WAS DINKS GREEN TRIPE. SHE SAYS COOL AND TELLS ME SHE WILL MAKE ME SOMETHING GOOD. A FEW HOURS LATER SHE CALLS ME IN TO EAT. THE KITCHEN STUNK SOMETHING FIERCE. SHE PUTS DOWN A HUGE BOWL OF WHAT SHE CALLS HER SPECIAL MENUDO. I ATE THE STINKY STUFF BUT NOW I FEEL KINDA SICK. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF MENUDO IS MADE WITH GREEN TRIPE?   I SURE WISH I WOULD HAVE USED THE WWBD BEFORE I ATE THIS STUFF.
